19th Century Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Vase (27″ height). This vase is a rare masterpiece of painting on porcelain. It arrived with broken ears and a large amount of damage to the whole body. The difficult part of the project was the protruding painting where each color had a different gloss. Also, restoring the inner surface was challenging because it was difficult to access the inside with tools and proper lighting.

White on Blue Vase (Ears Restoration)
Late 17th Century Chinese Cobalt Blue on White Porcelain Vase (14” heigh) This vase was made using slightly bluish transparent glaze, and a cobalt blue paint for the design, which is very difficult to imitate as it gets blurry edges after firing. Both ears ware missing, and it had a web crack around the neck. As we could not find the same kind of vase we designed the ears from scratch based on the painting style, and what was available as an example from the same region and time period.
